Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a crucial role in the operating room by aiding in surgical procedures. This position involves preparing the surgical environment, ensuring the availability of sterilized instruments, and providing support to the surgical team throughout the operation. Additionally, the technologist is responsible for maintaining patient safety during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.
- Assist in sterilization processes and maintain a clean surgical environment.
- Support the surgical team by providing essential assistance during procedures.
- Prioritize and ensure patient safety throughout surgical operations.
Qualifications
- Relevant certification or training as a Surgical Technologist.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
