Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room (OR) plays a vital role in the surgical team, assisting with various procedures and ensuring the optimal functioning of the operating room environment. This position is located in Baltimore, Maryland, and requires an onsite presence.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and maintain a sterile field.
- Support patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
- Participate in the decision-making process concerning patient care and surgical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in a surgical setting or completion of a surgical technology program.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and provide support in high-pressure situations.
