Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a vital role in the surgical team by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing assistance during surgical procedures. This position is essential for ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize the operating room before surgery.
- Sterilize and arrange instruments and medical supplies.
- Assist the surgical team during operations.
- Ensure that patient safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterilization techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
