Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist (OR) for our Chicago, IL location. At Avani Healthcare Staffing, we focus on providing excellent support to our employees while streamlining the staffing process. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency of operating room procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams during operations by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are readily available and in working order.
- Support surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures.
- Maintain accurate counts of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
