Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Avani Healthcare Staffing in Chicago, IL. This role focuses on supporting surgical teams within an operating room setting, ensuring that procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams by providing necessary instruments and supplies during operations.
- Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical equipment and ensuring cleanliness and sterility.
- Coordinate with surgical staff and assist in maintaining a sterile environment.
- Participate in the pre-operative and post-operative processes as needed.
- Deliver exemplary patient care by monitoring the sterile field and assisting as required during surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Must possess a certification in Surgical Technology.
- Experience in an operating room environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced surgical environments while maintaining attention to detail.
