Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team during evening and night shifts, working 12-hour schedules in Canandaigua, New York. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of patient care by actively participating in surgical procedures within a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical operations, ensuring a sterile field is maintained at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team, contributing to improved patient experiences.
- Implement suggestions for enhancing care and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist or a valid LPN license is required.
- Experience in a surgical setting preferred but not mandatory for grandfathered candidates.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care and safety are essential.
