Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room (OR) plays a crucial role in providing support during surgical procedures, particularly in high-level trauma care settings. This position requires working onsite in Atlanta, Georgia, and focuses on maintaining a dynamic and efficient operating environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functional.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures to promote patient safety and infection control.
- Collaborate with surgical personnel to facilitate smooth operation and effective communication during surgeries.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Experience in a high-pressure trauma care environment is preferred.
