Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic Operating Room (OR) team at a healthcare facility located in Manchester, NH. This full-time position involves day shifts along with on-call responsibilities. The primary focus of this role is to assist surgeons during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring efficient workflow within the operating room.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operating room prior to surgeries, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are ready.
- Support the surgical team during procedures by providing the required instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Collaborate with the OR team to enhance operational efficiency and uphold safety standards.
- Adhere to protocols for infection control and sterilization of surgical tools and equipment.
- Participate in on-call duties as needed, responding to urgent surgical needs outside of regular shifts.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is mandatory.
- Experience working in an operating room environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
