Job Summary
Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our OR team during the evening shift. This position is critical to our mission-driven environment, where you will work 12-hour evening shifts to support our surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments for surgical procedures.
- Assist in ensuring a safe surgical environment for both patients and staff.
- Support surgeons and nurses during operations by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain high standards of hygiene.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
