Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist / OR Tech – CST / ST role is essential for ensuring efficiency and safety in the operating room. The position involves both pre-operative preparations and executing meticulous post-operative protocols. An emphasis is placed on anticipating the surgical team’s needs while maintaining a strong focus on patient care throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and instruments for surgical procedures.
- Ensure a sterile environment is maintained at all times.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during operations.
- Assist with post-operative procedures and protocols.
- Participate in patient care activities with a focus on safety and comfort.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
- Experience in operating room settings is preferred.
- Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
