Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist / OR Tech – CST / ST plays a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures within a dynamic and patient-centered environment. This position involves assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and ensuring the highest standards of patient care are upheld.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes.
- Maintain an organized and sterile environment during surgical procedures.
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure effective procedures.
- Assist in the transport and positioning of patients.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST or ST) is required.
- Previous experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
