Job Summary
The Systems Administrator at HII’s Mission Technologies is responsible for providing essential support to the cybersecurity initiatives of the Naval Surface Activity (DNA). This role focuses on managing and safeguarding computer network systems while ensuring the integrity and functionality of system infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure operating systems, specifically Windows and/or Linux.
- Support cybersecurity programs and initiatives related to computer network systems.
- Maintain and enhance system infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with software engineers and machine learning experts to improve system capabilities.
- Monitor and resolve system issues proactively to maintain uptime and security.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in systems administration and network management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
