Job Summary
The Systems Administrator plays a vital role in overseeing and sustaining essential IT infrastructure, which encompasses Windows operating systems and network elements, to effectively support the operations of the US Army. This position emphasizes system security and performance, along with the implementation of patch management strategies, while also providing guidance to junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows-based systems and network components.
- Ensure the security of systems and monitor their performance.
- Implement effective patching strategies for compliance and security enhancement.
- Mentor and support the development of team members.
Qualifications
- 3 to 9 years of relevant IT experience, which may vary based on educational background.
- Holding an active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
- Must possess a DoD 8570 or 8140 compliant IAT Level II certification.
