Job Summary
The Systems Administrator IV position in Salem, OR is a hybrid 6-month contract role, primarily focused on providing extensive technical support. As the Backup System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and restoring systems while ensuring the operational efficiency of both Windows and Linux environments. This role requires collaboration with various IT teams to address and resolve infrastructure challenges.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key technical resource for system administration tasks.
- Manage and support Windows and Linux environments, focusing on system backups and restores.
- Coordinate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Handle a diverse range of infrastructure platforms, ensuring reliable operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing processes for system maintenance and enhancement.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
- Experience with system backup and restore procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across diverse infrastructure platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in a system administration role is preferred.
