Job Summary
The Systems Engineer is responsible for overseeing and sustaining the enterprise environment. This includes managing software deployments, ensuring configuration management, and facilitating system restoration processes. Additionally, the role requires providing advanced Tier 3 support for Windows and Solaris/UNIX systems while ensuring network performance and adherence to security regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise software deployments.
- Oversee configuration management and system restoration activities.
- Provide Tier 3 subject matter expertise for Windows and Solaris/UNIX environments.
- Ensure network efficiency while maintaining security compliance.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma is required.
- At least 9 years of relevant work experience in systems engineering.
- Possession of a verified DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
- Essential certifications include CompTIA Security+ CE.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Nutanix.
