Job Summary
The Systems Engineering Manager position is ideal for a qualified individual with a wealth of experience in systems engineering, particularly in integrating and operating observability tools such as Splunk. This role focuses on enhancing the integration of IT systems while collaborating closely with various teams, including Network, Security, DevOps, and Applications. The primary objective is to drive effective observability practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the systems engineering efforts by overseeing the integration of observability tools with IT systems.
- Foster collaboration among Network, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage and optimize the use of Splunk or equivalent observability platforms to enhance system performance and monitoring.
- Drive initiatives that improve reliability and visibility across all systems.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in systems engineering and IT systems integration.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of observability tools, particularly Splunk or similar technologies.
