Job Summary
This position offers systems engineering and integration support for the Conventional Prompt Strike program, concentrating on the integration of the weapon system with Virginia-class submarines. The role involves comprehensive technical oversight and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and operation.
Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering expertise for the Conventional Prompt Strike initiative.
- Focus on the integration processes of weapon systems within Virginia-class submarines.
- Evaluate technical documents and assess risks, effectively managing technical challenges and configuration baselines.
- Facilitate design reviews and related technical decisions in coordination with government entities.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are mandatory.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree combined with 11 years of systems engineering experience or a relevant master’s degree with at least 6 years of related experience is required.
- Preferred background includes support with Navy systems command or Strategic Systems Program, experience with Virginia-class submarines, and knowledge of missile launcher or weapon control system integration.
