Job Summary
The Nurse Technician plays a vital role in delivering hands-on patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse, utilizing contemporary health principles. This position involves assisting in routine clinical tasks and performing duties in alignment with the technician’s educational training.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
- Support the registered nurse in routine clinical procedures.
- Apply current health concepts in patient interactions.
- Operate within the defined scope of practice based on educational background.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- Completion of at least one academic term including a clinical component.
- Possession of Washington Nursing Technician Registration.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association.
