Job Summary
The technician plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of plant equipment and facilities, ensuring adherence to food safety policies and regulations. This position involves various tasks related to the thorough cleaning and sanitizing of work environments critical to food safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and facilities in accordance with established food safety standards.
- Disassemble machines as necessary for effective cleaning.
- Perform janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness in facility areas.
- Follow all sanitation procedures diligently and safely.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in cleaning within a kitchen or food plant setting.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic understanding of sanitation chemicals and safety protocols.
