Job Summary
The Telecommunications Estimator will play a pivotal role in the preparation of project estimates for telecommunications construction work. This professional will analyze project plans and specifications to create accurate and comprehensive cost estimates that facilitate decision-making processes and support project bids.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Conduct thorough analysis of labor, materials, and overhead costs associated with telecommunications projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure accurate estimation reflects project requirements.
- Prepare and present cost estimates, including breakdowns of all associated costs.
- Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in estimating telecommunications projects preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in cost analysis.
- Familiarity with telecommunications construction processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across various teams.
