Job Summary
The Teller position is integral to the banking services team, responsible for executing fundamental transactional tasks with precision and reliability. This role entails managing deposits, withdrawals, loan repayments, and cashing various negotiable instruments, while ensuring precise record-keeping. Additionally, the Teller will engage with clients to build and sustain professional relationships through exceptional customer service and effective cross-selling of banking products.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Cash negotiable items while ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.
- Provide outstanding customer service to establish and maintain client relationships.
- Cross-sell banking products and services to clients.
- Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience, particularly in cash handling, is preferred.
- Strong mathematical abilities and effective communication skills are a must.
- Professional demeanor and the capability to operate standard office equipment.
