Job Summary
This role involves accurately processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other financial transactions while ensuring the privacy of member accounts. The position emphasizes delivering exceptional member service both in person and through digital platforms, contributing to the support of digital banking initiatives, and recognizing opportunities to suggest credit union products and services.
Responsibilities
- Process various financial transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, with precision.
- Balance daily cash totals and uphold the confidentiality of member accounts.
- Provide exemplary member service through in-person interactions and digital communication.
- Support members with digital banking services effectively.
- Identify and recommend credit union products and services to members.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- No previous experience is necessary, although experience in retail sales or within a financial institution is highly valued.
- Strong communication and mathematical abilities are essential.
- Attention to detail and a professional attitude are required.
- Proficient in computer use and cash-handling equipment.
- Ability to detect and pursue sales opportunities is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
