Job Summary
The Test Engineer II will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of software products by executing effective tests and developing automated testing strategies. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in both manual and automated testing procedures while collaborating closely with development teams to enhance product reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test cases that align with software requirements to identify bugs and performance issues.
- Conduct rigorous testing on web applications, backend services, and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process.
- Analyze and document test results, ensuring that findings are communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
