Job Summary
This position involves the provision of comprehensive care to patients requiring trauma, orthopedic, and medical-surgical interventions. The role is pivotal in enabling optimal patient recovery and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the care process. The professional in this role will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality medical services, adhering to established protocols and standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level assessment and intervention for patients in trauma, orthopedic, and medical-surgical contexts.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to devise and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients’ progress and modify care approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding care plans, treatment options, and recovery strategies.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided meticulously in the health records system.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license or relevant certification in the medical/surgical field.
- Proven experience in trauma, orthopedic, or medical-surgical nursing.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
