Job Summary
The Trauma Surgeon will engage in surgical procedures and sharp debridement, addressing complex, chronic, and post-surgical wounds primarily within skilled nursing environments. This role focuses on employing advanced wound healing protocols while delivering collaborative care to patients in post-acute settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical interventions and manage sharp debridement on patients.
- Oversee and treat complex, chronic, and post-surgical wounds.
- Implement advanced protocols for wound healing.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Must possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
- A DEA license or eligibility to obtain one is required.
