Job Summary
The Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) position offers a competitive weekly salary range of $2,262 to $3,268, located in Portland, Oregon. This role is designed for skilled surgical technologists who are certified and ready to work onsite in a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care setting, delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to surgical teams by preparing and maintaining the sterile field during operations.
- Assist in surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and operating room personnel.
- Ensure appropriate instruments and supplies are available for each surgery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain and clean surgical instruments and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Experience working in an acute care environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
