Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in facilitating the smooth operation of the medical department by managing supplies and optimizing patient flow. This position involves supporting medical professionals during examinations and treatments, ensuring a high standard of care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize department supplies.
- Assist medical staff during examinations and treatments.
- Document patients’ vital signs accurately.
- Conduct point-of-care testing.
- Prepare and handle laboratory specimens for analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must achieve Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistants (RMA).
