Job Summary
The Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) position offers an exciting opportunity in Coos Bay, Oregon. This role involves working onsite for Specialty Professional Services, with a weekly compensation ranging from $1,483 to $1,561. Ideal candidates will be part of a rotating shift schedule and are expected to commit to a contract duration of 13 weeks with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various laboratory tests and analyses to support medical diagnoses.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and process laboratory samples accurately.
- Assist in interpreting test results and providing support to healthcare professionals.
- Document test results and maintain appropriate records following protocol.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with medical staff effectively.
