The Medical Assistant collaborates with the clinical team to provide quality patient care, including assessments, vital signs, and procedure preparation. They also manage chronic disease care transitions, provide health coaching, and assist in office operations and staff training. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, with post-secondary education and medical assistant certification preferred. A minimum of 3 years of medical experience, particularly in a clinic setting with chronic disease patients, is required.
