Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Coos Bay, Oregon. This position offers a competitive weekly pay ranging from $1,700 to $1,750 and requires onsite work. The MLT will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and precision.
- Ensure that all tests are conducted in compliance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Obtain and handle specimens properly to maintain their integrity.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Document results and communicate findings to medical staff promptly.
Qualifications
- Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with relevant credentials.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to adapt to shift rotations and various work schedules.
