Job Summary
TotalMed is looking for a dedicated Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Prineville, Oregon. The role is onsite and involves working a day shift.
Responsibilities
- Conducting laboratory tests on patient samples to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations in the laboratory environment.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Preparing and processing specimens for testing.
- Documenting results accurately and communicating findings to the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
- Possess a valid and active state license.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills to relay information clearly and efficiently.
