Job Summary
The healthcare organization is in search of a dedicated Travel Surgical Technologist to join their team in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position offers a competitive weekly salary of $1,402 and requires an onsite work arrangement. The role is essential in supporting surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams in a variety of procedures by ensuring the operating room is prepared with the appropriate instruments and sterile supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to facilitate smooth surgical operations.
- Handle surgical instruments and assist in wound management tasks as needed.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative care as directed by the surgical team.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Previous experience in surgery or acute care settings is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and schedules.
