Job Summary
American Traveler is in search of a qualified Surgical Technologist to join the team at a hospital Operating Room in Palmer, Alaska. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 3 years of diverse experience in the operating room environment, particularly familiar with various surgical specialties and DaVinci robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons in the operating room by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies competently during procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of advanced surgical technologies including Mako and Globus.
- Utilize Cerner EMR effectively for patient management and documentation.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of operating room experience across various specialties.
- Experience with DaVinci, Mako, and Globus surgical systems.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems.
- Ability to work the day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
