Job description
The driver is tasked with the safe operation of a tractor-trailer for the delivery of retail merchandise along a regional route. Responsibilities include keeping precise logs, adhering to federal and state regulations, and providing assistance in loading or unloading cargo when necessary. Candidates are required to hold a valid Class A CDL and have a specific amount of experience driving a tractor-trailer, which ranges from 9 months to 5 years depending on the timeframe. Furthermore, applicants must successfully complete a DOT physical examination, a road skills assessment, and thorough background and drug tests.
