Gas Insulated Support Specialist
Remote + 75% travel
Pay Rate: $78 – 85/hr Gas Insulated Support Specialist will provide both technical and safety guidance related to gas-insulated electrical equipment for field-based personnel. The Gas Insulated Support Specialist is critical to help drive the gas-insulated market. The Gas Insulated Support Specialist will teach and train employees and ensure they are performing tasks correctly and safely. Gas Insulated Support Specialist Responsibilities:
- Provide technical input and training to employees and leaders throughout the division regarding gas-insulated electrical equipment
- Technical training will occur onsite as well as in a classroom environment
- Travel to site locations around the United States
- Write safety checklists and complex LOTO procedures
- Mentor individuals who are actively learning these skills
Gas Insulated Support Specialist Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or Military experience
- 5+ years of gas-insulated experience
- Hazard Energy Control / Lock Out / Tag planning and execution experience
- OSHA 10 certified
Gas Insulated Support Specialist Additional Skills:
- Gas-insulated experience in an electrical or data center environment
