Job Summary
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will play a vital role in providing high-quality veterinary care for pets in critical need of immediate medical attention. This position requires a commitment to exceptional medical practices and a passion for animal welfare.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose animal health issues in urgent care settings.
- Develop treatment plans that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Perform urgent and emergency medical procedures as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ conditions and treatments.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure high standards of care.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
- Current state veterinary license to practice.
- Experience in emergency or urgent care veterinary practice is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Commitment to continuous education and best practices in veterinary medicine.
