Job Summary
The Valve Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various valve systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability. This role requires hands-on work, precision skills, and knowledge of valve technologies and their applications.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain valves and associated equipment.
- Diagnose valve failures and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct routine tests and evaluations to ensure system performance.
- Document all service activities and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve valve processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience in valve maintenance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components and systems.
- Ability to read technical schematics and manuals.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
