**Veterinary Assistant**
The Veterinary Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and dental operations, emphasizing the safety and proper handling of animals. This position also involves keeping precise medical documentation and delivering empathetic communication to clients about their pets’ treatment plans and discharge procedures. Applicants are required to have a minimum of one year of experience in a veterinary or animal care environment and should be skilled in phlebotomy, administering injections, and monitoring animal patients. Excellent organizational abilities and the physical capability to safely lift and restrain animals are vital for success in this position.
