Job Summary
The Vibration Test Engineer is crucial in validating the performance and durability of products through comprehensive vibration testing. This role involves designing and executing tests to assess product resilience under various conditions, ensuring compliance with established industry standards. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret test results and drive improvements in product design and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement vibration test plans and procedures to evaluate product performance.
- Conduct tests in accordance with industry standards and document findings accurately.
- Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide insights that inform product development and design modifications.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained properly for consistent results.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on test outcomes for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in vibration testing and analysis of mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and software used for data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
