Design, automate, implement, and administer VMware and OpenShift virtualization services, including automation workflows, access controls, observability, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting. Consult with application teams on virtualization solutions, plan platform capacity, and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation. Requires at least eight years of experience in automation development and virtualization infrastructure, including production VMware administration and automation, plus at least two years focused on Kubernetes and/or OpenShift Virtualization. Candidates should have scripting, IaC, CI/CD, Linux, networking, monitoring, API, GitOps, testing, and secure credential-handling experience; an associate degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
