Job Summary
The Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner is accountable for maintaining cleanliness and order within the warehouse environment. This role is essential for ensuring that the workspace is safe, organized, and conducive to an efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of the warehouse, including floors, shelves, restrooms, and break areas.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used appropriately and are in good working condition.
- Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while completing cleaning tasks.
- Maintain a schedule for regular cleaning duties to ensure consistency in cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
