Job description
Job Summary
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting various warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling goods and materials. This role involves both physical tasks and adherence to safety protocols while maintaining a productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading merchandise and materials from delivery trucks.
- Sorting and organizing products within the warehouse.
- Preparing items for shipping, including packing and labeling.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Conducting inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Adhering to company policies and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, typically up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
