Job Summary
The Wastewater Level A Operator is responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities. This position requires a keen understanding of wastewater processes and the ability to manage daily operations while adhering to regulatory compliance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control wastewater treatment processes to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to maintain operational effectiveness.
- Document and report on plant operations, including any issues or discrepancies encountered.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational problems as they arise.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Level A Wastewater Operator certification.
- Experience in wastewater treatment operations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to wastewater facilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
