Job Summary
The Welder plays a crucial role in executing precise welding operations based on interpreted blueprints. Utilizing manual welding tools, this position involves working in various orientations while ensuring adherence to engineering guidelines. The Welder also contributes to the maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of components, as well as assisting in the assembly of workpieces.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints to carry out detailed welding tasks.
- Operate manual welding equipment effectively in multiple positions.
- Perform maintenance on welding tools and keep parts clean.
- Assemble workpieces in accordance with engineering specifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 1-3 months of relevant experience is needed.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, including 10-hour shifts.
- Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Basic proficiency in math and language skills.
