Job Summary
The position involves conducting thorough internal and external inspections to guarantee that weldments comply with designated code and standard acceptance criteria. The role is also responsible for compiling and submitting quality assurance data, making repair recommendations, and formulating welding procedure specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external inspections to verify weldment compliance with acceptance criteria.
- Compile and submit comprehensive quality data.
- Recommend necessary repairs to uphold quality standards.
- Develop welding procedure specifications to enhance operational practices.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in structural or pipe fabrication.
- Able to work in challenging environments, including heights, confined spaces, and extreme outdoor conditions.
