Job Summary
The Wire EDM Field Service Technician is responsible for providing top-notch service and support for Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment in the field. This role is critical in ensuring optimal functionality and performance of our machinery, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The position is based onsite in Brooklyn, New York, and offers a full-time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Wire EDM equipment.
- Work directly with clients to provide support and technical expertise.
- Ensure that machines are operating at peak performance through regular service checks.
- Document service activities and provide feedback for improvements.
Qualifications
- Background in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Experience with Wire EDM technology is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
