Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is responsible for conducting standard radiologic examinations and providing medical support under the guidance of a healthcare professional. This role entails ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, prioritizing patient safety, and aiding with clerical tasks at the front office.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine radiologic examinations.
- Provide medical support procedures under clinician supervision.
- Maintain and monitor the functionality of radiologic equipment.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients during procedures.
- Assist with front-office clerical responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- State-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate is necessary.
- A minimum of six months’ experience in medical assisting and X-ray processes is required.
