Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is responsible for conducting standard radiologic examinations, ensuring the maintenance of imaging equipment, and prioritizing patient safety and precise documentation. This role also includes providing medical assistance to clinicians during physical examinations, drug testing, and various clinical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine radiologic examinations with a focus on patient safety.
- Maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document procedures accurately to facilitate effective patient care.
- Assist clinicians with physical examinations and other medical procedures.
- Support drug testing and other clinical activities as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Possession of a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certification.
- A minimum of six months’ experience in medical assisting and performing X-ray procedures.
