Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is tasked with conducting standard radiologic examinations and providing medical support procedures under the oversight of a healthcare professional. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of patient care and operational efficiency within the clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine radiologic examinations and medical support tasks.
- Register patients and manage patient flow.
- Maintain clinical equipment and ensure it is in proper working order.
- Document all procedures accurately in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- State-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate is necessary.
- A minimum of six months of experience in medical assisting and X-ray procedures is needed.
