Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is tasked with conducting standard radiologic examinations and providing medical support procedures under the guidance of a healthcare professional. This position also includes responsibilities such as patient registration, upkeep of medical equipment, and maintaining precise clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine radiologic examinations and assist in medical procedures as directed by a clinician.
- Register patients and maintain their records effectively.
- Ensure medical equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Oversee the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate.
- A minimum of six months of experience in X-ray techniques and medical assistant roles is necessary.
